They did it last year, and they’re doing it again. Amazon is kicking off the holiday season in October. Last year, Amazon called it “Prime Early Acess Sale” to differentiate it from Prime Day, the wildly popular, much anticipated July sales bonanza.
This October 2023, Amazon decided (for better or worse) to call it “Prime Big Deal Days.” Even if you think they should have asked the book community to come up with a more catchy title, it’s still going be, well, a big deal!

Like a second Prime Day, the Big Deal Days sale is an exclusive two-day sale for members only. It will likely feature several popular brands, such as Echo and Apple. Amazon promotes this event as a chance to enjoy big-time discounts and snag seasonal deals well ahead of the traditionally renowned shopping extravaganza, Black Friday.
